A granular product is applied to the lawn for the control of grubs. A preventative product can be applied before the grubs actually damage the lawn in areas where grub damage has a history of occurrence. This product is an insect growth regulator that prevents the immature grubs from developing into the lawn damaging stage. Alternatively, a control product can be applied to lawns that are in the initial stage of lawn damage or when a large population is causing significant lawn damage. It is important that both products be watered into the upper root zone in the soil where the grubs inhabit.
