Tree & Shrub Care
All Green's Tree and Shrub Care Program consists of 5 to 8 applications per year (depending on the plant materials and the length of growing season) providing:
Spring Deep Root Feeding with a seasonal blend of balanced macro and micronutrients that prepare ornamental plants and trees with the essential elements for producing spring plant growth including buds, foliage, and blossoms. Ornamental beds may receive a deep root feeding or a granular dressing of fertilizer depending on plant and planting density.
Dormant Oil applications are applied in the spring or fall to control the
over wintering life cycle stage of certain insects and mites. Summer
application rates of horticultural oil may also be used for scaleinsects
Insect Control for the control of the plant damaging insects that feed
on foliage or destroy the leaf by drawing out the plant fluids.
More than one application of insect control is required in a year
since insects have several life cycles in one season. Also, different
insects will damage plants at various times during the seasons.
Mite Control for those pests that draw plant fluids out of the leaves
of ornamental shrubs and landscape trees. Mites differ from insects.
They have eight not six legs and are more closely related to spiders.
Disease Control for select ornamental plant diseases that occur primarily as the new tender spring leaves unfurl. A treatment may be applied to protect the uninfected turfgrass plants from the disease for a specified period.
Fall Deep Root Feeding prepares the ornamental plants and landscape trees for the winter months with a seasonal blend of balanced macro and micronutrients. Ornamental beds may receive a deep root feeding or a granular dressing of fertilizer depending on plant and planting density.
Applications are performed from early spring to early winter. Your trees and shrubs are carefully inspected each visit and serviced by your All Green Technician.
